Healing Probiotic Jelly’s
A delicious, easy recipe full of probiotics and the healing benefits of good quality gelatin, collagen and glutamine. This is anti-inflammatory, can aid the repair of leaky gut by healing the gut lining. Immune boosting, full of protein, detoxifying and great for arthritis and joint pain. All this disguised as a treat!
1 cup of water or coconut water kefir
1 cup of cold pressed juice – we have used mango
3 tablespoons of Great Lakes unflavoured gelatin
Equipment - Glass jug, whisk 2 x ice cube trays
1) Put 2 tablespoons of Great lakes gelatin into the glass jug
2) Add 1 cup of water kefir and whisk briskly
3) Once a smooth paste has formed immediately add juice otherwise the gelatine will solidify
4) Whisk it all together and pour into ice cube trays. Leave in the fridge to set.
Turn out – you may need to use a knife to ease them out. Keep in the fridge and for up to a week.
